  4. * ANCIENT 'COSMIC CATASTROPHE' MAY HAVE IMPACTED EARLY HUMAN SOCIETIES, SCIENTISTS SAY - 26.06.2021
The impact event is suspected to be the cause of a mini-ice age that lasted over 1000 years.
The collision of comet fragments with our planet about 13,000 ago may have had an impact (figuratively speaking) on the lifestyles changes of human societies at the time.
Known as the Younger Dryas impact, the event supposedly wiped out several large animal species and even triggered a mini-ice age that lasted over 1000 years.
The impact theory was originally proposed in 2007, and now researchers from the University of Edinburgh suggest that "a large body of evidence supports the theory that a comet struck around 13,000 years ago."
"This major cosmic catastrophe seems to have been memorialised on the giant stone pillars of Göbekli Tepe, possibly the 'World's first temple', which is linked with the origin of civilisation in the Fertile Crescent of southwest Asia. Did civilisation, therefore, begin with a bang?"
  5. THE 11,000 BC STRIKE- Swarm B - 13,000 YA
Lamb 1977 reported a Global Climatic Boundary at 2809 b2k. The Younger Dryas cold period began 12,896 b2k - (149 years to compare to an impact from the last sub cluster that hit at 2809 b2k). By subtracting the 2809 b2k (radio carbon 2760 BP) date provides the nominal 9938 years resonate interval (supposedly two Vulcan orbital revolutions). The error uncertainty in the 2760 BP date is (2735 to 2788) cal.yr BP. Vulcan's period computed from the comet impacts that may have caused these two weather changes is half this interval, or 4969 years. Vulcan's theoretical period computed by this web site 4969.0 years and two times this value is = 9938 +/- 11.5 years (one sigma error) compared to the measured 9938 value from the comet induced weather change data. The impacts are thought to come from the B:Cl-1 comet cluster which contains five sub clusters over a 149 year period.
